Hi! I'm Brianna Bizzaro and I started Olive&Ink Studio in the beginning of 2017. What started out as a hobby for friends has morphed into a little passion of mine. I absolutely love calligraphy and watercolors and find writing with chalk and chalkboard paint oddly calming. Creating a beautiful piece of art that gets sent off to your closest friends and family is such a personal experience that I am humbled when asked to create it for you. I only work with local print shops that have fabulous printers, that way I can look at the product and touch it before it is sent off to you to ensure everything is perfect.
When it comes to events, there is nothing that I pay attention to more than the details of the day. Every sign that is made whether it be a welcome, bar, or menu sign all the way down to the gifts & cards or the guestbook or table numbers, will be thought out meticulously because it is so important to have a cohesive look! Each piece that is created is 100% handmade (is there any other way!) and as long as I can find the right dimensions, the wood that I use is salvaged.
One thing that is near and dear to my heart is giving back whenever I have the opportunity to do so. Currently we have two dogs that we rescued from an amazing organization called ForBelle's sake (check them out on Facebook!) We are also hoping to expand our family through adoption in the next few years. Why am I telling you this? 10% of all sales that I do will be donated to either a pet rescue organization or an adoption organization/family - you get to pick which one!
What's with the Olive in Olive&Ink? My grandfather was a first generation immigrant from a very small town in Italy called Cervino. It's about 30 kilometers outside of Naples and is a town that produces olive oil. The roads leading up to the town are lined with olive trees and if you take a walk on them, in olive season, you can pluck olives off of the trees and eat as many as you'd like until your heart is content.
